Andrea began designing custom invitations and stationery in New York City after her first daughter was born in 1992. In 1999, she moved her family as well as her business to New Jersey. In 2004, after working out of a home studio for 12 years she made the leap to a small studio storefront in Englewood. After a busy first year, her business grew so quickly that she moved into a studio to her current location which is three times the size of the original studio! Before she began her foray into invitations, Andrea went through the executive training program at Bloomingdales, worked on many corporate events such as the Land of Israel Event for Jordan Marsh and chaired many non-profit fundraisers for schools and organizations. As an invitation designer, Andrea offered so much advice to her clients for their events that she added full event planning and day of coordination to her services. She is a founding member for the New Jersey Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding and is a member of the Association of Bridal consultants where she is a designated Professional Bridal Consultant. Andrea lives in New Jersey with her four children and husband, who is her computer savior at the studio! She has a Masters degree in Mass communication from Boston University and is a certified wedding coordinator. |
Alison joined Paper Works and Events in July of 2008 after a brief stint working for Ceci New York and has been Andrea’s head graphic designer as well as right hand since her first day on the job. Alison is a creative genius with an uncanny ability to come up with fresh and innovative designs for every client and whose attention to minute details is unsurpassable! She has a passion for all event related details and loves to read her Martha Stewart Weddings magazine from cover to cover in one sitting. Alison is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a major in Studio Art and a concentration in Graphic Design. Alison lives in New Jersey and is currently single!
